Because your privacy is important to us, Seafarer operates by the following principles:

Seafarer collects information through the website during the viewing of a product through cookies and other automated tracking software to ensure you are provided with the information you require. At this stage, no personal information of yours is collected or available to us directly. Where personal contact information is required in order to service your enquiry or process your booking, such as your name, email and contact telephone number and or postal address, we will either ask you directly through one of our staff members where you will be advised why we are taking this information, or give you the option to complete an enquiry form for the specific purpose of providing you with a quotation, a brochure or other holiday or service information.

When browsing our website your source Information is used only for demographic purposes and to display appropriate individualised advertisements. Seafarer keeps all your Personal Information private and secure and does not share it with any third parties. Seafarer will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party unless this is necessary to: conform to national and international legal requirements, such as immigration and security requirements at airports and ports, to immigration, maritime, police or security personnel and other official organisations, as well as trusted suppliers such as airlines, yacht fleet and yacht cruise operators or hotel operators who are in turn obliged to collect and provide such information to the appropriate and relevant authorities. All such suppliers have been notified of our privacy policy and where located within the EU, are under the same legal obligations as ourselves under the new GDPRS regulations directive.

Seafarer will not send you any unsolicited information, including e-mail or mailed information, except as mentioned below. Seafarer will not sell, lease or rent its client / member lists to any third parties.

Where you have registered on our website, at an exhibition, or booked with us over the telephone, we may from time to time send you newsletter information about our current range of holidays and related services, special offers or discount promotions related to the products or services for which you have expressed an interest or registered with us for. On each email or other written communication, you will find the option to opt out of receiving further communications from us if you so choose. Where you have actually booked with us, in addition to relevant booking confirmation details, payment information or travel information we send you, we may also need to notify you of important service change information, Occasionally we may also contact you to conduct research about your opinion of current and prospective services via e-mail surveys.or questionnaires. Seafarer will not share your email address with any third party for the purpose of any direct marketing or research.

We sometimes provide links from our website to links to official websites (Such as the CAA) or certain external partners to which we are affiliated or who may provide additional services to you such as travel insurance or airport parking. Software and other IT platform suppliers we work with have all been vetted and checked to ensure that they comply with the various updated GDPRS regulations and that they have appropriate and adequate protection in place to ensure that any of your data held is protected secure and private. Such organisations include: Tigerbay Software (reservations system software) Sedna Systems (yacht booking software, Formstack (encrypted online submission platform); Google Drive (data storage and email platform), Mailchimp (email communication platform).
