A SEAFARER LEGEND RETIRES

After 11 long years of loyal and reliable service, Seafarer lead yacht Alter Ego, has returned home to the UK. She currently holds the record as the longest serving lead yacht in Seafarer history. Recognisable by her distinctive blue hull and classic sleek lines, The Compass 34 has found herself in service as a lead yacht in Croatia, Turkey, The Sporades, The Ionian and The Dodecanese

Alter Ego has decided to retire to south of England, a popular choice with many Brits of her age, where she intends to spend her time having leisurely weekend sails and lighter duties looking after the boss. She still owns a Seafarer battle flag which she has refused to part with for sentimental reasons. Be sure to look out for her on the Medway and at her new home at up Upnor sailing club.
