Mallorca - Cala Nova Marina Yacht Charter Base

Formerly known as the Escola Nacional de Vela Cala Nova, Port Calanova is a recently renovated marina situated just 5 minutes drive from Palma and a 10-15 minute drive to the Airport.

The local area boasts an array of luxury hotels, trendy beach clubs, the beaches of Cala Mayor and Illetes and of course countless bars, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance.

Open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, yacht and boat owners can take advantage of the marina’s shipyard services and new Travelift which lifts up to 75 tonnes. The marina has 172 moorings and welcomes yachts up to 25m in length, with the marina draft varying from 0.9m to 5m. There are toilet and shower facilities with renovated lockers, WiFi access, electricity and fueling station on site.

Day 1

Cala Nova Marina – Fly to Palma and transfer to Calanova Marina for embarkation

Day 2

Sa Rapita (22 nm) – Full facility marina close to one of the best beaches on the island.

Day 3

Cala D’Or (19 nm) – Upmarket marina, excellent restaurants.

Day 4

Porto Cristo (12 nm) – This is a beautiful setting, and the town is well worth exploring.

Day 5

Cala Mondrago (14 nm) – One of the most photographed areas of Mallorca, the national park is suitable for overnighting in settled weather.

Day 6

Islas Cabrera (18 nm) – Book your permit in advance to visit this beautiful unspoilt nature reserve.

Day 7

Cala Nova Marina (28 nm) – Enjoy a great last sail back to Cala Nova

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to the airport.

The marina at Cala Nova is approximately 30 minutes from Palma international airport. Flights from all major and most regional UK airports offer easy access to the island. Domestic flight connections from Madrid, Alicante, Valencia and Barcelona, should you choose to extend your stay in one of these great cities.
