Explore the Dalmatian coast and the islands.

Following a successful return to Split in 2023, we will be back in 2024 to build on that success. Back in the ACI Marina in Split, we are 10 minutes walk or a quick water taxi away from one of the jewels of the Adriatic, historic Split town and the stunning and atmospheric Diocletian Palace.

If you are looking for a sailing holiday that combines some stunning scenery with superb sailing breezes then look no further than the Dalmatian coast and our great Split flotilla.

Area Information

If you can’t spare the time to spend two weeks sailing, then the choice of which route is a tricky one. The Skradin route takes you north to beautiful Skradin and the Krka national park while our Hvar route takes you south to the islands of Hvar, Viz and Brac amongst others.

The Weather

WeatherOur Croatia flotilla season runs from May to late September. Temperatures range from the low 70s in early and late season to the high 80s plus, in late June through September. Winds are usually predictable, moderate and occasionally fresh (force 2-5) in the afternoon.

Note: Flotilla routes may vary during the season according to weather and operating conditions. Our flotilla crew will keep you fully briefed each day.

Routes

The Split Flotilla runs two separate routes with odd weeks sailing the Hvar Route and even weeks sailing the Skradin Route. Full details of these two routes are below, please note you can combine the two into an epic two week holiday.

Skippered Flotilla Sailing

While these yachts are generally skippered by guests themselves who hold the correct qualifications we can also provide a skipper for those with no prior sailing experience. This will still have all the benefits of sailing as part of a flotilla, meeting others in the evenings or during the day, organised activities for the kids as well as all the usual benefits of yachting, like exploring, swimming in secluded bays during the day, and the simple joy of travelling under sail. Flights

Saturday flights from Gatwick, Heathrow, Luton, Bristol, Manchester and Leeds to Split. Flights available from only £100 per person return.

Transfers

Direct road transfer to ACI Marina Split in approximately 45 minutes gets you to and from our Split flotilla base. Prices from £40 per person return. Alternatively you can take the bus from Split airport to the bus terminal in Split and take a local taxi.
