Set sail from Phuket Yacht Haven to explore this beautiful area. Enjoy a swim and lunch in a choice of tranquil bays and evenings exploring ashore before dining in a pretty coastal location either ashore or on board according to the programme. Discover stunning beaches, interesting villages including the floating fishing village of Koh Panyi, visit the famous ‘James Bond island’ and much more in this scenic and verdant archipelago. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming off the yacht, plus great snorkelling.
A Great Way To Travel
Our comfortable and well appointed Bavaria lead yacht is deal for your Thai sailing adventure, with 4 double cabins (2 cabins for guests), a maximum of four guests will be on board, plus our experienced crew of two will be on board to look after you. Breakfast and a light lunch is included, to be enjoyed ‘al fresco’ whilst anchored in an idyllic bay. Enjoy a refreshing swim before or after lunch, it’s up to you to decide.

There is nothing better after a day of great sailing, swimming and snorkelling than to relax on deck and enjoy a sun-downer with your fellow sailors, before exploring each new destination. We aim to arrive at each destination in the early afternoon as islands and villages we visit are well worth exploring, If you are a foodie, Thai cuisine is of course world renowned, and you will discover new local delicacies to try. On some evenings, there will be the opportunity to meet up with other flotilla guests for dinner or drinks.

Arrivals and Departures. The journey from the airport will give you your first glimpse of the lush Thai vegetation, Buddhist temples, and picturesque villages.Koh Hong
(17 nm) This amazing site is only accessible by tender through a cave leading you to a lake surrounded by 100m cliff. Hong island, considered to be amongst the most beautiful islands in the Krabi province. Exploring this fascinating island, where you’ll take in the stunning natural rock formations, including solitary limestone peaks both in the sea and on land. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the caves, which contain stalagmites and stalactites. Lunch at anchor.Koh Yao Noi
(18 nm) Tonight we anchor in the bay on the south side of Koh Yao Noi. Eat onboard or alternatively take a 30 minute stroll along the main road from the pier to the sunset restaurant - take a local taxi back if you don't feel like walking!Rai Lei Beach
(15 nm) Depart and sail north to see James Bond Island, then lunch in Koh Pak Bia. Overnight in Rai Lei Beach - plenty of lively bars and restaurants for a good night out.Koh Pu
(20 nm) South we go to Koh Pu, very laid back with just a couple of restaurants on the long beautiful beach.Koh Lanta, Bamboo Beach
(16 nm) South again to the beautiful island of Koh Lanta, we moor overnight in Hat Kan Tiang.Free Sailing

Our Thailand cabin charter season runs from January to early April. Temperatures range from the mid to high 20s . You can expect a little rain, however January to April are the driest months of the year. Sunshine is consistent, with an average of 8 hours per day. Sea temperature is high, thanks to the relatively shallow waters, with an average of 28 to 29 degrees centigrade. Prevailing winds are from the north, north west and are typically force 3-4, locally 5.
Our Yacht - Bavaria 45 - 2018 Model
The comfortable and well equipped Bavaria 45 lead yacht has four cabins (2 for guests, plus two for the crew). Both guest cabins (equipped with fans) have private use of their own heads, adjacent to the cabins. The saloon is spacious, with plenty of seating for all, although most of your time will be spent in the equally spacious cockpit. Outdoor life in the cockpit is complimented with a large bathing platform with swimming ladder, as well as a stern mounted BBQ for perhaps a fish supper under the stars.
