At Seafarer we endeavour to respect the natural environment in which we sail as well as the laws, people and culture of our host countries. On this basis, our staff will provide information on issues such as recycling, use of appropriate eco-friendly detergents on board our yachts, correct use of holding tanks, conserving water, disposing of rubbish responsibly and advising on local regulations you should be aware of. What’s more, we will encourage you to sail more and motor less! Additionally, we actively promote the history and culture of our host counties and endeavour to contribute to the local economy and communities. For example we try to work with local suppliers and materials wherever possible, support local events as well as local conservation initiatives. In all these ways, we are hopefully doing our bit towards the goal of ensuring that these beautiful and largely unspoilt areas are there to be enjoyed by future generations.
