Mallorca has over 300 beaches and 550 kilometres of coastline to offer, so what better way can there be to explore, than a on a catamaran sailing cruise.

Starting out from the city of Palma, which is famous for its Gothic cathedrals and cobblestone street, we will be sailing to peaceful coves with pristine water and exploring in the Cabrera Archipelago marine-terrestrial park, where you can enjoy some wonderful snorkelling. There will many opportunities to go beachcombing or relax on one of the many golden sand beaches.

Our spacious catamaran is a Lagoon 620, which can accommodate up to 12 guests. All of the cabins feature a double bed, air conditioning and are en-suite. Towels and beach towels are also provided for your use.

Our experienced crew will consist of your skipper, a hostess/chef and also a deckhand, who all have expert local knowledge and will be able to show you all of the best places to swim and snorkel. Once you have been welcomes on board, the crew will do their utmost to make you feel at home and you will be pampered with fine cuisine, which is mostly prepared using fresh local ingredients. All you need to do is relax and enjoy sailing in this fabulous location.

Palma Dream Itinerary

PALMA – CALA PORTALS VELLS

Boarding will begin at 18:00. After your are welcomed aboard, you will have time to familiarise yourself with your cabin and the facilities on your catamaran.  Following a security briefing, we will take a short sail to Cala Portals vells, a beautiful cove with clear waters. Here we will have dinner on board and stop for the night.

CALA PORTALS VELLS  –  CALA PI  –  COLONIA SANT JORDI

Following breakfast we will sail to Cala Pi, with its lovely beach and turquoise waters. its is a great place for snorkelling and swimming. We will have lunch on board in this popular anchorage. If the weather should become unsettled, we will continue on to the port of Sa Rapita, where there is a marina. After lunch we will sail to Colonia Sant Jordi. Colonia is famous for its sandy beaches, including Es Carbo, which is a favourite of the Spanish royal family, and Es Trenc, a 2 mile long natural and more isolated beach with golden sand and crystal clear waters. We will take time for some swimming, beachcombing and snorkelling. In the local town there are many tapas bars and restaurants that can be explored. We will have dinner on board and anchor for the night between the islets of Gabina and Redona.

COLONIA SANT JORDI  –  CALA FIGUERA  –  PORTO PETRO

We will sail north after breakfast, and head towards Cala Figuera, which is know as “Little Venice” by the locals. Cala Figuera is a quaint little town with whitewashed cottages and boathouses, and the port is primarily a traditional fishing community. We will have lunch on board in this tranquil location. In the afternoon we will sail to the former fishing port of Porto Petro, which has developed into a nice seaside resort with a sheltered bay. Here we will have dinner on board and stop for the night.

PORTO PETRO  – CALA SANTANYI

After breakfast we will sail to Cala Santanyi. This picturesque location features a charming cove with a white-sand beach, surrounded by rocky cliffs and pine forests. On the headland, overlooking the cove, stands a watchtower, the Torre Nova de la Roca Fesa. This tower was built in 1663 to protect this part of the coastline from pirates. Following lunch, we can go snorkelling or kayaking to a nearby cave. Dinner and night on board.

CALA SANTANYI  –  CABRERA NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, we will sail to the Cabrera National Park. The Cabrera archipelago consists of a main island (Cabrera) and several smaller islands and rocky islets. This archipelago is famous for its birdlife, and we will enjoy some snorkelling in this pristine underwater world which is home to some rare species of fish and corals. Later, in the afternoon, you can take a walk up to the castle which overlooks the harbour, and was built late in 14th century as part of the defence against pirate attacks. From there you will have a good vantage point to watch the sunset. We will anchor for the night in Cabrera and have dinner on board,

CABRERA NATIONAL PARK  –  ES TRENC

After breakfast we will sail to Es Trenc Beach. This beautiful beach is on the south coast of the island and it runs to over 2km in length. The beach is not attached to any resort so it has a wild and natural feel, and with its golden sand and crystal clear water, it is sometimes referred to as Mallorca’s answer to the Caribbean. Despite being under-developed, compared to tourist resorts, there are a few bars with small shops that sell a range of meals, drinks and snacks, where you may hear Latin American music being played in the evenings. We will spend the day enjoying this beach and the surroundings, before having dinner and the night on board,

ES TRENC BEACH  –  PALMA

Following lunch, we will start sailing back to Palma.  On our way we will see the steep cliffs of Cap Blanc with its lighthouse. Much of this coastline has not been developed and we will see the rocky inlets and secluded coves that make up the landscape. The crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkelling and swimming. Dinner and night on board.
