Cabin Charter in the Ionian
Explore the beautiful Ionian islands and the coast of Epirus in the Ionian aboard one of skippered yachts. Booking by the cabin on our “share a sail” program means you enjoy the big boat experience at a fraction of the cost of a full skippered charter. A maximum of 8 like-minded guests have the opportunity to share a fantastic island hopping sailing cruise. You can get involved in the sailing or relax and enjoy the scenery, the choice is yours, although helping out with mooring and preparing meals is part of the experience.
Your yacht will be provisioned with a generous welcome pack including tea, coffee and fruit juices, fresh fruit, plus everything needed for breakfast and a light lunch for the first couple of days. Your skipper will organise breakfast on the first morning and, thereafter, catering on board will be a collaborative effort between the guests on board and the skipper. The norm is to have breakfast before leaving harbour and lunch at anchor in a bay, whilst in the evening, most guests choose to dine ashore and discover the culinary delights on offer.
Each new day brings another island to explore
Set sail from Lefkas and explore the beautiful islands of Meganisi, Ithaca, Zante and Kefalonia amongst others. Enjoy a swim and lunch in a choice of tranquil bays and evenings exploring before dining in a pretty harbourside taverna. Off the water, explore historic towns, Venetian castles, Byzantine churches and ancient ruins, or simply enjoy one of the most scenic and verdant islands of Greece.
A voyage of discovery
There is nothing better after a day of great sailing, swimming and snorkelling than to relax on deck and enjoy a sun-downer with your fellow sailors, before exploring each new island and harbour. We aim to arrive into harbour in the early afternoon as the towns and villages we visit are well worth exploring, with each having their own character and fascinating history with lots to see. If you are a foodie, this is a great part of Greece, with each island having their own local delicacies to try.

Typical mediterranean weather pattern in the Ionian islands, with light breezes ranging from force 3 to 5 in the months of July and August. Afternoon breezes are usually a little stronger.

Our Bavaria 50 is an ideal yacht to explore the idyllic Ionian sea. Accommodation comprises 4 guest cabins, 3 shower / WCs and a spacious and comfortable saloon. The galley is equipped with 2 large fridges and gas cooker. There is also a media player. Deck facilities include cockpit table, cockpit cushions, deck speakers, bimini top, spray hood, swimming platform and deck shower.
A choice of accommodation is available with double cabins for couples and twin cabins for friends, and of course combinations of these are ideal for families.
