Sail from Dubrovnik on our Korcula flotilla
Sailing in Dubrovnik is a breathtaking experience that combines stunning coastal scenery with a sense of adventure and discovery. Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik’s ancient city walls, red-roofed buildings, and crystal-clear waters create a picturesque backdrop for a day out on the sea. As you sail along the coastline, you can explore secluded bays, hidden coves, and nearby islands like Lokrum, the Elafiti Islands, and Mljet, each offering unique charms, from lush forests to pristine beaches. Further afield, the island of Korčula awaits with its medieval architecture, vibrant vineyards, and rich history, famously associated with the explorer Marco Polo.
The Adriatic’s gentle breeze makes for perfect sailing conditions, while the culture and history of the region add to the allure of the journey. Whether you anchor to enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters or indulge in fresh seafood at a local island restaurant, sailing in Dubrovnik and beyond, to places like Korčula, offers a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration.

Area Information
Dubrovnik, Croatia’s “Pearl of the Adriatic,” stuns with its walled old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beyond the city walls, southern Croatia unfolds, offering island getaways and coastal beauty.
Island hopping north of Dubrovnik reveals gems like Korčula, nicknamed “Little Dubrovnik” for its historic town. Korčula is known for its vineyards, charming towns, and the alleged birthplace of Marco Polo. Neighboring Mljet boasts Mljet National Park, where a Benedictine monastery sits on a car-free island within a larger island. Mljet offers hiking, biking, and pristine lakes perfect for swimming. Lastovo, the furthest flung of the three, is a haven for nature lovers with its untouched landscapes, diverse wildlife, and secluded beaches.
The Weather
Our Dubrovnik flotilla season runs from the end of May to mid October. Temperatures range from the low 70s in early and late season to the high 80s plus, in late June through September. Winds are usually predictable, moderate and occasionally fresh (force 2-5) in the afternoon.
