1 WEEK ROUTE

Day 1

UK to Corfu and transfer to Gouvia Marina for embarkation.

Day 2

Sagiada – mainland (15nm) a tranquil and picturesque fishing village closely bordering Albania. It is well-known for its fish tavernas.

Day 3

Syvota (Mourtos) – mainland (17nm) a popular stop for yacht charterers after recent rapid development. The area was known to its previous occupants, the Turkish, as Mourtos – the name of a famous local pirate.

Day 4

Parga – mainland (23nm), situated on the mainland of Greece but has a distinct ‘island feel.’ It is famous for its incredible beaches and colourful houses. The seaside town is overlooked by hilltop ruins of a Venetian castle.

Day 5

Gaios and Lakka – Island of Paxi, (15nm) one of the smallest of the Ionian islands. Navigate the maze of side streets in Gaios where you will be spoilt for choice with places to sample traditional Greek cuisine. Follow with a visit to the cosmopolitan village of Lakka, whose waters are often compared with those of the Caribbean.

Day 6

Lefkimi – Island of Corfu (18nm), visit the architecturally stunning churches of Corfu’s second largest town.

Day 7

Return to Gouvia Marina (19nm), enjoy your final evening in the sophisticated Gouvia marina or take a taxi to the nearby Corfu Town to experience Greek city nightlife.

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Corfu airport.

2 WEEK ROUTE

Day 1

UK to Corfu and transfer to Gouvia Marina for embarkation.

Day 2

Gaios – Island of Paxi (5nm) one of the smallest Ionian islands, navigate the maze of side streets in Gaios where you will be spoilt for choice with places to sample traditional Greek cuisine.

Day 4

Nidri – Island of Lefkas (43nm) an assembly point  for the annual Ionian regatta. The friendly, lively village can be busy in high season but Seafarers looking for peace and tranquility are encouraged to hire bikes and discover some hidden gems.

Day 5

Fiskardo – Island of Kefalonia (19nm) lively and sophisticated but retaining some traditional Greek charm and character, a great place for people watching.

Day 6

Zakynthos (43nm) Zante town is the capital of the island and the commercial centre. The sandy beaches make the island a popular tourist destination for families though art buffs will enjoy the Byzantine Museum in the charming Solomos square.

Day 7

Agia Eufimia, Kefalonia (37nm) a picturesque harbour town named after the white Church of St. Euphimia. A must see is the Melanissi cave. Visit at noon when the sunlight hits the turquoise water and illuminates the entire cave with an ethereal glow.

Day 8

Vathi – island of Ithaki (16nm) the Capital of the island sits deep in this bay within a bay. Plenty of choices for an evening meal, with lots of lovely tavernas hidden in the back streets.

Day 9

Porto Leone – Island of Kalamos. – 17nm – Abandoned after the 1953 earthquake, the bay is a beautiful spot, dominated by the church overlooking it.

Day 10

Vathi – Island of Meganisi (11nm) visit the laidback Pasoumaki Beach for some snorkelling.

Day 11

Lefkas Marina – Island of Lefkas (11nm) take a stroll to Lefkada town to admire the beautifully adorned Venetian churches and enjoy a Greek coffee in the main square. You may be lucky enough to have your visit coincide with one of the many annual festivals in the area.

Day 12

Parga – mainland (30nm), situated on the mainland of Greece but having a distinct ‘island feel.’ It is famous for its incredible beaches and colourful houses. The seaside town is overlooked by hilltop ruins of a Venetian castle.

Day 13

Lakka – Island of Paxi (18nm) visit the cosmopolitan village of Lakka, whose waters are often compared with those of the Caribbean.

Day 14

Return to Gouvia marina (31nm) enjoy your final evening in the sophisticated Gouvia marina or take a taxi to the nearby Corfu Town to experience Greek city nightlife.

Day 15

Disembark and transfer to Corfu airport.

Gouvia Marina, which was the first privately owned marina in Greece, is situated about 6 kilometres from the town of Corfu and 7 kilometres from the International Airport. The port is close by, offering ferry links with Patras and Italy. Seaplanes also service the marina itself, with local flights to Lefkas and beyond. A short hop across to Igoumenitsa offers coach and bus links to Athens.

Yacht Security Information

A returnable yacht security deposit must be lodged locally on arrival. The amount varies according to yacht size & age and is  payable by credit card (€2000 – €4000). Alternatively you can reduce your liability to just €500 – €600, by paying the insurance premium shown.

Monohulls up to 36ft –   £126 per week or  £252 per two weeks + reduced refundable deposit €500

Monohulls 37ft – 49ft –  £189 per week or £378 per two weeks + reduced refundable deposit €500

Monohulls over 50ft & catamarans up to 41ft –  £252 per week or £504 per two weeks + reduced refundable deposit €600

Catamarans 42ft and over –  £315 per week or £630 per two weeks + reduced refundable deposit €600
