Paros is the ideal location from which to explore the Cyclades Islands, including Mykonos, Serifos, Sifnos and Santorini. With approximately 220 islands forming the Cyclades, you are spoilt for choice when cruising around these beautiful islands.

Parikia, the capital of Paros Island, is a vibrant bustling town noted for its narrow cobbled streets, traditional blue and white houses and the many old churches, the most famous of which is the church with a hundred doors, all overlooked by the 17th century Venetian castle.

Disembark and transfer to Athens airport

There is a small airport situated 9km from the main town which caters to domestic flights to and from Athens run by Olympic Airlines on a daily basis. Regular public buses and taxis connect the airport with Paroikia town. As there are no international flight connections, nor any charter flights to Paros, travellers usually fly to Mykonos or Athens and then take a ferry to Paros. During the summer season, there is a frequent connection of ferries / hydrofoils and catamarans, between Piraeus or Lavrion port in Athens and Paros (about 4-5 hours).
