General Information

Loutraki harbour is a beautiful, quiet location from which to start your charter in the beautiful islands of the Sporades. A short stroll from the quay is the beautiful village of Glossa, with breathtaking views across the Aegean to the south.

You are ideally situated to explore the islands of Skopelos, Alonnisos and Kyria Panagia to the north east, and the islands of Skiathos, gulf of Volos and the northern coast of Evia should you prefer.

Sailing Itineraries

Eastern Route

Day 1

Fly UK to Skiathos. Our base is in the pretty harbour of Loutraki on the island of Skopelos, a short water taxi ride away from Skiathos harbour.
Day 2

Patitiri, Alonnisos (18 nm) – This lush Capital of Alonissos has an enchanting and timeless harbour. With Patitiri taking its name from ‘wine presses’, it would be criminal not to enjoy a carafe in the evening sun.

Day 3

Kyria Panagia (19 nm) – One of the best natural harbours in Greece – this island is populated only by farmers and animals. Visit the restored historic monastery or simply enjoy the peace of remoteness.
Day 4

Steni Vala, Alonnisos (14 nm) – a sheltered cove which was used, in past times, as a place for pirates to hide their ships. Nowadays it is a conservation area for Monachus Seals – which you may be lucky enough to spot! Take a short walk to the pebbly beach of Agios Petros
Day 5

Skopelos Town, Skopelos (12 nm) – a charming harbour town rising amphitheatrically from the scenic harbour. Explore the Byzantine churches and 13th century Venetian of the historic old town before hitting the waterfront boutique jewellers and tavernas.

Day 6

Skiathos Town (16 nm) – a cosmopolitan yet romantic capital. You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars. Soak up the atmosphere on Papadiamantis Street.

Day 7

Return to Loutraki.
Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Skiathos airport.

Western Route

Day 1

Fly UK to Skiathos. Our base is in the pretty harbour of Loutraki on the island of Skopelos, a short water taxi ride away from Skiathos harbour.
Day 2

Skiathos Town, Skiathos (8 nm) – a cosmopolitan yet romantic capital. You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars. Soak up the atmosphere on Papadiamantis Street.
Day 3

Paleo Trikeri, Gulf of Volos (25 nm) – sail into the gulf of Volos and to this gem of an island, Paleo Trikeri. Stop at donkey island to say hi!
Day 4

Volos (15 nm) – hire bikes and explore this grand city or take a scenic walk from one end of the seafront to the other down Argonauts Avenue.
Day 5

Melina (18 nm) – visit the lovely village of Kato Gatzea before heading to Milina for the evening shore.
Day 6

Koukonaries Beach, Skiathos (18 nm) – a wonderful, long and sandy beach. Spend a day enjoying the clear blue waters and pine-fragranced breeze.
Day 7

Return to Loutraki.
Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Skiathos airport.

How to get There

Fly direct to Skiathos from major UK airports. Once in Skiathos, take a 5 minute taxi ride to the ferry quay from where you can get a 30 minute ferry ride to the peaceful harbour of Loutraki, below the village of Glossa on the beautiful island of Skopelos.
