Our base at Fethiye ECE Marina is ideally located for exploring the many idyllic bays and coves of the Fethiye Gulf and beyond to Dalyan in the west or Oludeniz in the east. Visit ancient tombs, snorkel in clear, turquoise water and experience traditional Turkish Hammam mud baths, all while enjoying the fantastic sailing conditions the area is known for.

The modern city of Fethiye is located in the protected Gulf of Fethiye, which offers a magnificent playground for those looking for a relaxing yacht charter in Turkey.

Experience Level 1

Sailors can expect offshore north-westerly winds of 15-20 knots. The area is exposed to the Meltemi winds which pick up in the afternoon, reaching Force 4, alongside local winds and katabatics. You can be assured or ‘ashored’ of many sheltered anchorages and protective coves when you disembark for the evening in search of delicious Turkish cuisine and a raki nightcap.

Fethiye is located on the Turquoise coast of Turkey. With its many points natural and historic interest, alongside sun, sea and fantastic food, it has become a popular holiday destination for the discerning tourist and is well worth a stay on either side of your charter.

1 Week Route

Day 1

Fethiye – Cold Water Bay (15 nm) – Arrival in Fethiye. After your check in, set sail on course for cold water bay, 2-3 hours sailing, giving you plenty of time to get to know your yacht.

Day 2

Cold Water Bay – Butterfly Bay (4 nm) – Point to point you have a relaxing day ahead, but giving you time to explore, relax or go sightssing, the choice is yours.

Day 3

Butterfly Bay – Gelemis (21 nm) – The ruins of the Lycian city of Patara are jut a few metres from the beach and it is easily accessible on foot. It is said that the Greek god of the sun Apollo was born here.

Day 4

Gelemis – Kaputas Beach (13 nm) – Kaputas beach is widely regarded as one of the best in Turkey. located between two high cliffs, the bay showcases the pristine turquoise waters of the coast perfectly.

Day 5

Kaputas Beach – Kas (5 nm) – Another short hop to your destination, with plenty of time to explore the islands to the south east of Kas, including the Greek island of Kasterlorizo.

Day 6

Kas – Oludiniz (30 nm) – A great sail back up the coast towards Skopea Limani.

Day 7

Return to ECE Marina – Dont miss the chance to explore the bazaar, with a meal in one of the great restaurants nestled amongst the spice stalls.

Day 8

Disembark and transfer to Dalaman airport.

How to get there

A 3 hour 40 minute flight to Dalaman Airport from many UK airports. The marina is located at the eastern side of Gulf of Fethiye just in front of the town. 40 minute drive from Dalaman airport.
