Edelweiss is a Dufour 470 on our Dodecanese flotilla. Built in 2022, she has four double cabins plus a skipper’s cabin and five heads, one of them in the skipper’s cabin, and space for up to nine guests.
The Dufour 470 is a big, comfortable yacht with ocean-going performance and a vast cockpit. Her battened mainsail drops neatly into its Lazy Bag, and the self-tacking jib means there are no headsail sheets to handle when you tack. A bow thruster makes berthing in busy harbours easier.

On Board
Below Deck
Edelweiss has four double cabins and a small skipper’s cabin. Every cabin has a fan. Six to eight is the most comfortable crew, with room for up to nine guests.
The saloon has a table for meals below deck. The galley has a fridge and a gas hob and oven, and there is hot water on board. There is also a stereo. She also has a generator, air conditioning and a watermaker, which is rare on a flotilla yacht. The heads have electric toilets.
On Deck
The cockpit has a table, with a bimini and sprayhood for shade and shelter. A hydraulic bathing platform with a swimming ladder makes swim stops easy. The bow thruster and solar panels help when you are on the move. There is also a barbecue, underwater lights and a gangway. An inflatable dinghy with an outboard is also included.
Safety equipment on board includes lifejackets, a liferaft, an EPIRB, safety harnesses, flares and a first aid kit. In the cockpit there is an autopilot, as well as depth, speed and wind instruments, and on board you also have a GPS chartplotter at the helm, a VHF radio, charts and a pilot book.
