Seafarer x RNLI: charity auction holiday in Greece
A week in Greece, on your own yacht, with a purpose beyond the experience itself. We’ve launched a charity auction holiday. It gives you the chance to enjoy a flotilla holiday in Greece while supporting a meaningful cause.
The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is auctioning the prize, with all proceeds going directly to the charity. The auction is now live, offering a rare opportunity to secure this experience while contributing to the RNLI’s lifesaving work.
A flotilla holiday in Greece, now up for auction
Here at Seafarer, we’ve donated this trip to support an RNLI charity auction. This time, the RNLI is running the auction directly, so all proceeds go straight to them. It’s a simple idea, but it makes a real difference to the work they do.
In particular, the charity auction holiday prize is a 7-day Kefalonia flotilla (the Zante route), departing on 31 May 2026. The auction is already live and will close at 12pm on 21 May 2026. You can take a look at the charity auction holiday and place a bid here.

What to expect from this charity auction holiday in Kefalonia
If you’ve never tried a flotilla holiday before, it’s a slightly different way to sail. You have your own yacht and complete freedom, but with a lead crew there if needed. They help plan routes, offer support, and bring the group together along the way.
For this reason, it’s a relaxed and flexible way to explore, whether you’re experienced or new. This particular flotilla holiday in Greece starts in Kefalonia, one of the most rewarding sailing areas.
Think clear water, sheltered bays, and a mix of lively harbours and quiet anchorages. You can take a closer look at the Kefalonia flotilla here.
Why we’re supporting the RNLI
At Seafarer, everything we do is connected to the sea, so supporting the RNLI feels natural. The RNLI provides a 24-hour lifesaving service, with volunteer crews launching thousands of times each year. Earlier this year, we marked our 30th anniversary with a fundraising concert supporting the RNLI.
As a result, this charity auction holiday is a continuation of that effort, helping raise further funds. As Chris Lorenzo, our Managing Director explains: “Whilst Seafarer has undertaken fundraising initiatives for the RNLI before, it was hearing first-hand about the dedication and bravery of RNLI volunteers working within our own team that drove us to do more.”
To sum up, the charity auction holiday is now live, giving you the chance to secure this trip while supporting the RNLI. It closes at 12pm on 21 May 2026, so there’s a limited window to take part.
